Dawn Coolidge really shone this event in her role as Lex Mitorae. Whether it was knocking down Hyurog bodily and feeding on him, or standing at an anvil creating things to help protect the town or delegating responsibility, she did an amazing job in her last game as Lex, and lots of people noticed. We are truly fortunate to have another remarkable new NPC on staff who has quickly found her place at the game. This month’s Best NPC, Cara Backman*, came to us a couple of events ago and has really shown us what a wonderful person, nevermind NPC, she is. Cara is just a wellspring of energy, enthusiasm, helpfulness, and volunteerism. She is constantly helping wherever she can, whether it is with cleaning or crunching or setting up mods or diving into role-playing. She is often one of the first people at the camp to help set up and one of the last to leave at the end and she does it all without complaint. We are so happy that she finally came to game, and even happier that she is on staff. Though this is a paltry “Thank you” next to what you actually deserve, Cara, know that we truly mean it. Thank you!
